ARCTIC MONKEYS – WHATEVER PEOPLE SAY I AM, THATS WHAT I’M NOT (THE WATSON ROSE REFIX)

The first Arctic Monkeys album is a generational defining body of work that i still enjoy to this day. But I’ve always wondered how it would sound if it was contextualised with an alternative sound. So, I set out to reinterpret the album with instrumentation from the modern landscape. I like how it turned out, although my own technical limitations didn’t allow me to realise the vision completely, however it still embodies the essence of what i was trying to and I hope it still has some inspirational artistic value. So, slap the play buttons and enjoy a new take on a British classic.
